New Edit, Hide, Clone Showbacks in nOps

Three new features to simplify your workflows and sharpen your cloud cost visibility

FinOps teams often face challenges when cost allocation spans multiple teams and reporting dimensions—policies are harder to manage, dashboards fill with noise, and insights don’t carry over easily.

These new Showback enhancements are designed to streamline and unify your cost allocation: for simpler access management, cleaner dashboards, and reusable insights to save time.

What’s New

Edit Policies Directly on the Team Members Page

Managing policies no longer requires navigating back and forth across multiple pages. Now, you can:

Edit policies directly from the Team Members page, with fields pre-filled for quick adjustments.
See total policy counts at a glance and make edits without leaving the page.

Hide Any Showback Values in Explorer

Dashboards should highlight what matters—not clutter. With the new Hide Values control, you decide what stays visible.

Custom showback views: Create and assign resources to views that match your reporting goals.
Hide what you don’t need: Remove any showback values (not just unallocated costs) from your explorer.
Complete control: Hidden values aren’t deleted — unhide them anytime if they become relevant again.

Clone Insights with Flexible Filtering

Re-using insights just got easier. Instead of rebuilding, you can now clone insights and make them your own:

Clone as-is or filter by selected showback values—widgets update automatically.
Customize cloned widgets: Adjust the date range, cost type, and granularity to suit your needs.
Multi-value dropdowns: When cloning with multiple showback values, a dropdown filter appears in each widget, letting you drill deeper into the data.

How To Get Started

To start using the new Showback Enhancements, simply navigate to your Showback detail page, Insights, or Explorer to view the new options.
