Introducing AWS MAP Growth Forecasting

Last Updated: August 7, 2025, Announcement
Today, we are making improvements to the nOps MAP (Migration Acceleration Program) tracker. Partners can now track their current forecast time to hit 50k in AWS net-new spend growth.
nOps AWS MAP Manager empowers MAP Solutions Providers to help their partners track migration progress across all of their customers.
What’s New: MAP Growth Forecasting
MAP Growth Forecasting is an advanced analytics feature in the nOps MAP portal that applies machine learning algorithms to client spending data to predict future migration performance across your entire client portfolio. You no longer have to do this on spreadsheets!
The system analyzes patterns in client tagged and untagged resource spending, seasonal variations, and growth trends to predict exactly when each client will reach their $50K milestone. This enables Solutions Providers to predict migration trajectories across all client projects, identify at-risk accounts, and make data-driven decisions about client support allocation.
How It Works
MAP Forecasting uses advanced time-series analysis of spend signals to keep you ahead of project delays. It ingests granular spending data from all client AWS accounts within your portal, focusing on:
- Client tagged resource spend across all AWS services
- Client untagged resource growth (uncovers spend that hasn’t been tagged yet)
- Temporal variations across the client portfolio (daily, weekly, seasonal patterns)
It then analyzes these signals to:
- Identify growth trends in client resource utilization
- Detect seasonal patterns in client migration activity
- Calculate each project’s progress toward the $50K MAP target and remaining days
- Model different scenarios based on portfolio-wide historical patterns
Benefits of Predictive MAP Tracking
Predictive MAP tracking equips Solutions Providers with the foresight to manage risk, deploy resources effectively, and deliver strategic insights across their migration portfolio.
