Manage and maximize your AWS credits with real-time and historical insights
Managing AWS Activate credits has traditionally required stitching together spreadsheets, internal forecasts, and scattered billing data. Teams often lack visibility into whether they’re on track to utilize all of their credits — risking running out early or leaving credits unused.
Today, we’re introducing the AWS Activate Credit Tracker — designed to help you easily and intuitively track and manage your AWS Activate credits. You can now get organizational and service-specific insights and review trends in historical data to help you stay on track and optimize your credits. No more guesswork or spreadsheets; you can use the tracker to manage your AWS credits with confidence.

What’s New
Credit Burndown Visualization
See how your actual AWS usage compares to your remaining Activate credits on a monthly basis. The tracker shows overages, shortfalls, and recovery trends across all your accounts and services, with historical and forecasted views. For example, if your credits are expected to last only six months based on current spend, you’ll have full visibility to take action early if needed.
Service-Specific Budgeting
Easily filter and analyze spend across individual AWS services. You can track and model expected growth across EC2, S3, and other key contributors. Understanding which services drive most of your spending helps you optimize usage and extend the life of your credits.
Manage all of your AWS agreements in one place
Whether you’re using AWS Activate credits, managing a Private Pricing Agreement (PPA), or tracking an Enterprise Discount Program (EDP), you can monitor everything in a single view. The burndown tracker gives you a unified way to track spend against any type of AWS commitment — credits, contracts, or agreements — with historical trends and future projections to stay ahead.

How it Works
The tracker analyzes your historical AWS usage, overlays it against your available Activate credits, and projects your future burn rate. Visualizations help you quickly identify underutilization or overperformance, while filters and service-level breakdowns give teams the granularity they need to take action.
